To create a new brand, you must know your client.
Establish interviews that will give you insight into the company history and flavor of what you can use to develop the direction of the new brand. Familiar elements is one direction you may take to modernize the new brand direction for our client. The more involved your client is in the collaboration process the quicker the brand will evolve to the final image.
Drawing from architectural history, we combined aspects of two elements used in every day design process. The original hand lettering was chosen from one architect and the organic torn edges of the onion skin used when creating plans.
After several iterations involving shape, format and color, the final layout was chosen for the new primary logo.
